The Premium Mortgage Group started out as a North Queensland locally founded home loan provider back in 2000, our service back then was predominately as a mortgage broker called 'Premium Home Loans' where we facilitated home loans to a range of some 25+ lenders.
Details: After a period of approximately 18 months the shareholders of Premium Home Loans purchased premises in Kirwan, Thuringowa and commenced operations from that location providing the above service.

After years of mortgage facilitation for other lenders, including 4 years as a sub branch of a regional building society where among various duties we opened bank accounts, accepted deposits and processed withdrawals, 'Premium' moved up a gear into mortgage management.

Mortgage Management is a term used to describe the retail end of a wholesale 'Non Bank' lender. General activity for a mortgage manager is to provide a home loan facilitation service, and once the loan settles continues its service to the borrower by managing the loan for the life of the loan, the same way a bank does.

The main difference is that we are not a large publicly floated financial institution, being smaller means we are not laden with onerous overheads and can focus on providing a higher and more personalised level of service that experience tells us most customers want.

So when you need help with anything regarding your home loan, you will receive prompt and attentive service from a real person that you can also meet in person when required.

Becoming a mortgage manager in such a competitive industry was not easy let alone being the first true local mortgage manager operating in North Queensland. So after a lengthy period of attaining accreditations with Australia's prominent Mortgage Insureres and meeting stringent criteria required to mortgage manage in 2004, 'Premium Mortgage Management' commenced under the banner of Premium Home Loans and began facilitating and managing home loans under its own name.
